Michele and I went to her first pregnancy checkup (10 weeks) today. Everything is fine and looking good.
We saw the baby moving around quite a bit, wiggling its little hand and feet buds and moving its head around. We got to hear the heartbeat (168 bpm), which was really freakin' amazing.
Needless to say, we're both very happy and even cried a bit. Michele can blame that on hormones, but I don't have any kind of manly excuse.
This scan isn't very good. The NP gave us a print out of the picture; next time I'll have to ask for the original electronic image.

congrats, you two. I was singing the Gus to sleep last night and thinking about how much he has changed our lives for the better. You have anormous joy in front of you.
